Doctors
All the doctors have a commitment to a friendly, caring style of family medicine, regularly updating their knowledge and skills via reading, seminars and refresher courses. All the doctors are parents themselves and they have experienced many of the pleasures, as well as the stresses and anxieties of parenthood.
DR ALICE CHISHICK
Dr Chishick qualified from Bristol University in 1987. She completed her GP training in 1992. During her hospital training Dr Chishick worked in Accident and Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Medicine for the Elderly, Haematology, Dermatology, Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, including some work with an infertility specialist and Psychiatry. As well as carrying out all the usual aspects of general practice, Dr Chishick fits IUCDs, contraceptive implants, does minor surgery and undertakes antenatal and postnatal care and paediatric surveillance. She and her husband have 5 children, 3 sons and 2 daughters. Her interests include photography, playing squash, walking and going to the theatre.
Practice Nurses
We have three excellent Practice Nurses who all work part-time and have a wide range of skills:

Jill has been a practice nurse for more than 10 years. Previously she worked with terminally ill patients. Her special interests are diabetes, heart disease and COPD.
SISTER CATH

Cath joined the surgery in 2021. She specialises in minor illness and respiratory medicine.

Reception
The front line of receptionists comprises Sarah, Carolyn, Lorraine and Kerry. They are your first point of contact and if they cannot help you, they will be able to direct you to someone who can.
Carolynn and Sian are the medical typist and if you are referred to a hospital by the doctor, it will be Carolynn and Sian who will be dealing with your referral.
Dispensers
Our dispensers are Monika, Michaela, Cathy, Aimee, Carly, Samuel and Anita. They are all very experienced and will be happy to help with queries on medication. We should point out that we are only allowed to dispense to some of our patients. For further information about dispensing see our prescription page.
District Nurses
District nurses for our area are based in Chichester. They look after patients who need nursing care but who are unable to get to the surgery. Patients with more serious illness or long-term conditions who cannot get to the surgery may come under the care of the Community Matron. Please contact reception if you think you may need to access the District Nursing Service.
Midwives
Our midwife is Tina Mason who runs an ante-natal clinic in the practice on Wednesday's. Tina will look after patients who are pregnant, throughout the pregnancy. If you are pregnant, please complete an online referral to be referred to Tina. Click on Services, Clinics we offer, Antenatal care.
Health Visitors
THIS HAS NOT YET BEEN RE STARTED SINCE COVID
The health visitors are in contact with all families who have children under 5. They hold a drop in clinic at the surgery on the 2nd and 4th Thursday each month between 1.00pm - 2.30pm.
